Many of my design ideas are sparked by specific gemstones in my collection. My inspirations stem from textures and motifs from my surrounding environment. After careful consideration of the logistics of the piece I saw, bend, solder and polish pieces out of sterling silver sheet and wire. Oxidization of the silver allows me to contrast focal points of scenic pieces. I love adding texture and have a few favourite hammers that I rely on to achieve this. I periodically use elements of copper and brass, which respond well to the patina formulations I've developed, and when paired with sterling silver, give a pop of colour and uniqueness. With my home studio in Huntsville, ON, and a background in Gemmology, Earth Resources and Environmental Sciences, I aim to create pieces with passion and precision, perfect for those who appreciate quality craftsmanship and the allure of nature.
