Wendy Lynne Rinehart

Wendy Lynne Rinehart a.o.c.a. is an Award Winning Doll Artist who creates hand sculpted figures. Her latest endeavors have been on-line. Teaching at aforartistic.com she has taught; leather hat making, soft sculpting, full figure paperclay sculpting and most recently a polyclay sculpt.
Born in Toronto she pursued an art career from High School through Art college and then on to post-grad studies at the Edinburgh College of Art with the help of a Travel and Study Bursary Award.
Her work reflects a very personal sense of humour, often whimsical in nature her goal is to evoke an emotional reaction from the viewer through the use of colour, texture and wonderfully intricate detail, translating that it into a moment in time.
Wendy explores combinations of metal, polyclay, paperclay, cloth, gourds and soft sculpture to create a character that draws the observer into a fantasy voyage of their own imagination.
