Since 1988, Deb Brown, a resident of Horseshoe Valley, Ont., has become renown for her art. Beginning as a stained glass artist, she was compelled to stretch the limits of her medium, leading her to explore metalwork and eventually to the production of three dimensional sculptures and fused glass creations.
Her current works feature incredible welded steel sculptures, unforgettable stained & fused glassworks, and amazing sculptures which combine steel and glass!
Deb’s artistry also includes wearable art, featuring fused Dichroic glass jewellery. Infused with gem-like qualities, metallic glints & colours that change like a hologram, these one of a kind, kiln-fired pendants and earrings are enchanting all who see them.

“Spark Song” is a classy sculpture, using minimalism of line and form to express a strong, flowing essence. The painted steel features several shades of rich copper, emphasized by the deep red colour of the slate base. The stained glass used has an amazing dual effect: without backlighting the glass appears to be pastel shades of cream, soft orange and peach, but when touched by light the glass comes alive - bursting with brilliant reds and golds, giving the effect of flame.
