Robyn Pottage was raised in rural Oro-Medonte and, since her childhood, painting and drawing have been a natural form of expression; her paintings are alive with a sense of nature and the natural beauty the earth has to offer. The concern and love she carries for the environment are always evident in her work. |

Inspired by many art forms, Robyn has studied Art Nouveau and Japanese painting and printmaking. These art forms are organic in nature and appeal to her sensitivities and development as an artist. Always seeking new ways to express her ideas, Robyn uses Japanese papers, acrylic paint, flowers and leaves harvested from nature, and anything she finds interesting to capture varying moods and feelings within each painting. Robyn studied fine arts at the University of Windsor as well as the Ontario College of Art and Design, and has exhibited her work in Windsor, Toronto and the surrounding area. |
