 | | Woodside Pottery and Gallery Craighurst exhibits the works of about 40 artists and fine craftspeople. Currently we are showing fine leather bags, many different types and styles of jewelley from many different makers, exquisite etchings, fair trade olive wood servers from Kenya, beautiful blown glass and colourful fused glass, fun stuffed toys for young and old alike, soapstone carvings from Nunavut, magnificent turned wooden bowls, delicate carved song birds, wall mounted carved owls and of course pottery, including my own, largely functional, stoneware. We also have wood fired pottery, lovely crystaline glazed porcelain and porcelain with air brushed images including images from Georgian Bay. Our current gallery exhibition which runs untill August 14 is a combination of beautiful photographs by Jan Novak and extraordinary textile art by Hilary Rice. For news about upcoming exhibits please contact me, Hartley Woodside at woodsidepottery@gmail.com. We are now open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm. (seasonal hours are always posted on the answering machine). For more information call 705-728-3691. |
