“The goal... the goal? - to give form to the soul.
Each in our own way, together a whole.
I am an artist, my visions are bright.
I sing silent soul songs of colour and light."
- Deb Brown
Successful glass and metal artist since 1989, Deb Brown, a resident of Horseshoe Valley, ON, gains inspiration from the beauty of nature and the forest in which her home is situated.
Specializing in fine detail and strong use of colour and line, Deb’s creation of art is a constantly evolving process, getting better and brighter as she continuously pushes the boundaries of her media.
Deb loves the way light plays with glass, and she uses metal to provide strength and contrast to her creations. Fascinated by the vast potential inherent in creating with two opposite mediums, Deb makes unforgettable sculptures which combine glass and steel and/or brass.
This season, Deb continues to enjoy the process of glass fusing in a kiln. She will be creating, and showing, amazing sculptural fused glassworks including pine, fall maple and willow tree sculptures, “Spirit of the Bear” collection, luminous nature scenes, and an exciting new collection of glass and metal - “Raindancers”.
Deb's artwork can be found in private and corporate collections throughout Ontario and sprinkled across Canada, the United States and Europe.
