Experience Deb Brown’s unforgettable glass and metal art, created with fire and light!!
Deb’s artworks include brilliant fused glassworks featuring sculptures, panels, suncatchers, sparkling fused glass jewelry, and a collection of functional artglass. Deb is also well known for her stained glass, and creation of dynamic metal and glass sculptures.
In 2015 enjoy a myriad of sculptural glass including Tree Sculptures, Reflections of Nature, Stories of Spirit, glass and metal Raindancers, bears, butterflies, and lots of Whimsical new works sure to brighten your day.
A resident of Horseshoe Valley, Ontario, Deb gains inspiration from the beauty of nature and the awe inspiring forest in which her home is situated.
Specializing in fine detail and strong use of colour and line, Deb’s art often features nature, and she captures a high degree of realism in some works. Other artworks might be called surrealistic, as they contain stylized forms, and/or overlapping concepts.
Deb views glass as a vehicle for telling stories of light, creating artworks that expore universal concepts and reflect the beauty of life, dreams, the human spirit, a variety of cultures, with a special love for global indigenous wisdom, and nature.
Deb loves the way light interacts with glass, and is fascinated by the vast potential inherent in combining two opposite mediums, feeling it adds a dynamic element to the art. Her unforgettable sculptures sometimes combine glass with welded steel and/or brass, using the metal to provide strength and contrast to her creations. She also often incorporates natural rock as support for the glass, which she feels “grounds” the ethereal dream-like qualities of the glass art.
Professional glass artist for over 26 years, Deb’s creation of art is a constantly evolving process, getting better and brighter as she continuously pushes the boundaries of her medium(s). Her artwork is currently in private and corporate collections throughout Canada and sprinkled across the United States and Europe.

“The goal…the goal? – to give form to the soul.
Each in our own way, together a whole.
I am an artist, my visions are bright.
I sing silent soul songs of colour and light."
